<aside> 📽️ I made a little TikTok video to show you how easy it is to use the green screen! Check it out here.

A few important things to know before using a green screen.

First, make sure not to wear green! 😂

Next, understand that the green screen can only be applied to one camera angle. The reason is simple: the background you'll apply is a 2D image, whereas using multiple cameras requires a 3D space!

Finally, be careful about light contamination in the room. You don't want green reflecting on your face or clothes.

1. Lower the Green Screen and Adjust the Light Colors

On the wall behind you (when you're looking at the teleprompter) is a set of screens that you can lower using the chains. Lower the green screen.

Once lowered, load the "Green Screen" preset from the interface to manage the lights.

If you want to change your background during editing, you can stop following this guide here. You're ready to record! If you want to replace your background while recording (useful for live streams), proceed to step 2.

2. How to Replace the Background During Recording

I've configured a preset that automatically replaces the background! Simply click on the "Green Screen" preset available on the Stream Deck.

3. Adjust the Image

If there's noise in the image, you may need to adjust the light intensity. Refer to the images below to see what to do and not to do!

The 2 Ways to Use the Green Screen

After testing and using this feature, I've concluded that there are 2 simple ways to use the Green Screen.

The first is to use the MultiView option to overlay the main shot with the background image.

The second is to use the Overlay option to overlay the main shot onto output 1.
