Are the Cameras Configured in the Software?

If you arrive at the studio, open vMix, and are greeted by something that looks like this image, it's simply because it's a blank project and no preset has been selected!

To fix this, simply load the default vMix preset using the the Stream Deck!

Are the Cameras Turned On?

If you've loaded a preset and the camera sources have been imported but nothing is displayed, it's because the cameras aren't turned on!

The reason behind this issue is simple: if the camera doesn't detect any connected device to receive the data it sends via HDMI for more than 2 minutes, it shuts off automatically.

To turn all the cameras back on, press the button at the entrance of the room to shut down the entire set. Wait ten seconds and press the button again to turn everything back on.

Is the Camera Overheating?

When recording for an extended period without opening the door, it can get quite warm in the studio. If your camera shuts off automatically without reason, it's probably because it's overheating!

To check if this is the case, go behind the camera in question and look at the screen.

First, you'll need to turn the camera off and on. The switch is located above the handle:

Once it's on, look at the screen. If there's a small red thermometer icon, it's a sign that the camera has overheated!

To fix the problem, there's no magic solution; you need to turn off the camera, wait a few minutes, and then restart it.

If this happens, it's important to contact me and let me know! I will add a heat dissipator to prevent it from happening again.
