1. Access and Initialize the Studio

The studio address is directly available on the website.

The Sherbrooke studio is harder to find, so I've made a document to give some instructions. Here it is!

1.1.1 Open the Doors and Access the Studio

To access the studio, simply go to the address indicated on the portal (app.lesbunkers.com) and click on the icons to unlock the doors.

These icons appear at the start time of your reservation. In other words, if you reserved for 12:30 PM, you have to wait until 12:30 PM for them to appear!

In Montreal, you'll need to take the magnetic card found in the lockbox attached to the main door. The code is 1030. It's important to immediately return the card to the lockbox and lock it again.

Once inside the building, just click on the 2nd padlock to unlock the studio door.

In Montreal, the studio is located in the first corridor to the left. The door is on the right and it's the only door with a smart lock.

In Quebec City, simply go up the stairs. The studio is the 3rd door on the left. It's the only door with a smart lock.

<aside> ⚠️ When you arrive, the studio will be in the same state as the last person left it. Normally, this means the studio should be ready to record.

However, nobody is perfect and it's possible to forget some details. If the studio is not in an acceptable state, it's important to take photos for reference and write to me at [email protected].

In any case, this little guide will show you what to do to 1) ensure the studio is optimal and 2) what checks to make before starting to record.

<aside> 👣 IMPORTANT, remove your shoes. Bring slippers or a pair of clean shoes if you want to have something on your feet! 🙂

1.2 Starting up the Studio

When you open the door, a motion detector will take care of turning on the lights and cameras.

If the lights don't turn on, you can manually control the opening and closing of the studio by pressing the Hue button at the entrance.

This button controls the lights and cameras!

<aside> ⚡ Once you arrive at the studio, the computer should be open with the vMix software started and you should be able to see the cameras.

If the computer is off, it's probably because there was a power outage. In this case, you will need to manually turn on the TV, computer, sound console, and USB hub. Check this document for the complete procedure! 👇

2. Adjust the Cameras

Once the studio is running, start by adjusting the cameras to your preferences!

2.1 Are the cameras level?

Before starting, make sure the angle and orientation of the cameras are correct. Directly on the camera screen, you'll see a small bar that detects if the camera is tilting to one side or the other.
