In the studio, we use two types of standing desks: Ergonofis and UpLift. If you are in Montreal or Quebec, you have an Ergonofis.

In Sherbrooke, it’s an UpLift.

Procedures for Ergonofis Desks:

If the standing desk won't raise or lower, it's likely that someone has activated the height limit or locked the desk by accident. 🤦‍♂️

Here's how to remove this limit…

Removing Height Limits

1. Adjust the desk to the programmed height limit using the up or down arrows.
2. To remove a height limit when the desk is lowering, simultaneously press and hold buttons 1 and 2 for 5 seconds or until a beep is heard. To remove a height limit when the desk is raising, simultaneously press and hold buttons 3 and 4 for 5 seconds or until a beep is heard.

Unlocking the Desk

1. When the desk is locked, press and hold the up and down arrows for 5 seconds or until a beep is heard.

Procedures for UpLift Desks:

Sometimes UpLift desks have issues with the height limit. You may need to recalibrate the desk.

To do this, it's super simple! Just press the down arrow to lower the desk to its minimum height. Once at the minimum, press the down arrow again and hold it for 5 seconds.
